BIO
Sleighed, are a group of friends/musicians from Cambridgeshire, that have a great new Christmas song out.
The song, “It’s Nearly Christmas” was written by EJ Stone, a singer songwriter from the Fens. EJ collaborated with musician, Rich Young, and together they have put together an amazing uplifting Christmas anthem. EJ then enlisted other musicians that he has made friends with from a local open mic night, to perform backing vocals.
The Story
Think ‘Love Actually’ meets ‘The Full Monty’ only with Christmas jumpers on! The story of a group of ageing musicians, trying to make the big time with a Christmas song. The story of each band member is unique and very different and yet they bond together to form SLEIGHED.

The Song
“It’s Nearly Christmas” was written by EJ in December 2022, and has been in production throughout 2023, with the final backing vocals being added in November 2023. The song takes you on a journey leading up to Christmas Day, with an emphasis on family and the joys of Christmas, there’s even a few new Christmas words in the song, such as “Giftmass” you’ll have to listen to the song for the others!
The climax of the song is the party feel at the end, which includes group singing and clapping, which you are bound to singalong with.
